May 1, 2025

Melbourne, Australia and Boston, USA - IDP Education, in collaboration with its trusted global payment partner, Flywire Corporation (Flywire) (Nasdaq: FLYW) has launched a major awards initiative aimed at helping international students fund their studies overseas. The program offers students the chance to win one of 50 awards valued at US$3,000 each, totalling US$150,000.

IDP students sending funds abroad for their international study or other qualifying services will be eligible when they make two payments or more through Flywire between 1 May and 31 July 2025. These payments can cover a range of essential international education expenses — including tuition fees, accommodation, health insurance, and/or banking services.

Harmeet Pental, Chief Operating Officer at IDP Education, said the award program aims to support students by providing additional funds as they commence their global studies.

"Our students trust us with one of the most important decisions of their lives — pursuing their dreams through international education. This trust goes beyond academic guidance; it extends to every part of their journey, including finances,” he said.

"We understand that financial aspects, such as visa costs and savings requirements, can weigh on students’ minds. Our partnership with Flywire is designed to remove some of these concerns, enabling students to focus on their studies with confidence and support," stated Mr. Pental.

Flywire’s Senior Vice President, APAC EDU & Global Agents, Mina Fakhouri, said the partnership reflects Flywire’s dedication to enhancing the international payment experience.

"At Flywire, we are always looking for ways to enhance the payment experience for students, and our expanded partnership with IDP is another step forward in that mission. This award program is about more than just financial support; it is about removing barriers and providing students with the resources they need to pursue their education with confidence. We’re proud to be IDP’s trusted partner and to support students at every step of their education journey."

Award winners will be invited to share their personal testimonials, highlighting the impact of this financial support on their study abroad experience and aspirations.
